We've been accepted to two out of three film festivals: Durango and the Miami Short Film Festival. The bad news is the one we didn't get into was Sundance. Well, for a short, I'm not sure that's a big deal, although I was kind of excited about the prospect of attending as a filmmaker. This most likely means we won't transfer to 35mm, as that's too big an expense unless we get into one of the handful of other major festivals and they'll only take film.

We had our cast and crew screening, and had one industry attendee who liked it very much and was interested in talking further. The screening happened with little notice and in the busy holiday season, so after some discussion with Steve Foody (Producer), we're planning to do another one sometime this year. I figure we should wait until after the Academy Awards because everyone will be buried in screenings until then, plus we might be able to build some festival buzz by that time.
