We've started getting information from Durango Film Festival. They will provide one hotel room for us for three days and two festival passes, but we'll have to provide our own transportation. It looks like in addition to myself, producer Steve Foody and cinematographer Sasha Rendulic are interested in going. Others of the cast and crew may also attend, but we need to get cost details before we'll know for certain. I've sent still photos and publicity information to the festival. The next step is to get in touch with our filmmaker liaison to discuss how we can get as much publicity as possible. I know from past experience that we'll get the most help if we express a lot of interest. I'm hoping to at the very least get some print clippings. It looks like this will be our premiere festival, so I want to make sure we get as much attention as possible. I feel like we're a little unprepared for publicity. I'll probably call a meeting of the producers and maybe the lead actors to discuss what we can do to catch up.

Meanwhile, I've signed up with withoutabox.com to assist in the application procedure. It seems to be a great service and cuts, in general, $5 off most application fees. The cost of submissions is starting to add up, so I'm being careful with where I submit. Need to start researching some overseas festivals as well.
